We, councilors if Paju City, have great responsibilities to promote local governance of
the city, balanced development of region and democracy in Korea, and adopted this
code of conduct in a way to develop good local council and the model of local councilors.
1.Councilors must guarantee fair and equal opportunities for other colleagues in their
council affairs. Thy must solve any provlems amicably by discussions and compromise,
and compliance to laws in a way to build basis for good system.
1. Councilors must represent the public interests intheir work. They cannot pursue any
profits for interests of sprcific person or themselves and exercise any unlawful influences.
1.As public figures, they have obligations to keep their dignity and try ro upgrade their
quality. They also have responsibility to become frugal and upright as models for cetizens.
1.All councilors do not abuse power to earn the contract and sales of properties with
llocal government, public organization and business enterprise for the capital beniefits and rights. |
